What we always use
- Session cookie — set when you sign in, cleared when you sign out. Lets the backend recognise you between requests.
- Cookie-consent flag — stored in your browser's localStorage to remember whether you accepted or dismissed the banner.
What we use only with your permission
- Google Analytics 4 — pageviews and basic device/country stats. Helps us see which posts and pricing pages actually get visited. Loads only after you click Accept in the cookie banner. IP addresses are anonymised before being sent to Google. Cookies dropped:
_gaand_ga_*, both first-party.
If you dismissed the banner, none of those scripts ever load. You can change your mind below at any time.
What we don't use
- No Hotjar, FullStory, LogRocket, or session replay
- No Facebook Pixel, Google Ads, or marketing trackers
- No Segment, RudderStack, or first-party-tracker frameworks
- No third-party fonts (fonts are self-hosted via Next.js)
- No third-party comment widgets, chat embeds, or social plugins
Privacy is the baseline. Everything beyond the session cookie is opt-in.
